The Zhejiang University of Technology was established in 1910 as the Zhejiang School of Technology. It has since become one of the top industrial universities in mainland China and the second largest university in the Zhejiang Province. The Province is also home to the strongest and fastest economic growth in Southeast China. Although it has a stellar engineering program, the university also strives in providing the highest education in the disciplines in science, liberal arts, law, philosophy, economics, education and art. With over 35,000 full-time students, the university holds over 900 international students .
ZJUT is located in a picturesque, historically and culturally rich city of Hangzhou in China. Hangzhou city is a major tourist spot in China and is only 45 minutes by high speed train from Shanghai.
