Spring/Summer 2017: July 1 - August 12
Join the WSU College of Engineering on an exciting program to Xi'an Jiaotong University, China for an exploration of human electro-physiology and its application in human computer interface. Participants of the program will spend 6 weeks primarily in XiAn Jiotong University in a historical city of China to explore Institute of Intelligent Monitoring and Instrument and to learn hands-on technology and computer algorithms on mind-spelling using brain wave signals, mind-controlled wheelchair, muscle electrical signal controlled robotic arm. The participants will be taking a corresponding 3 credit course (BME 5995/EGR 5995) which is open to undergraduate and graduate students focusing on using nerve signals for medical robot control.
